Bridesmaid gets emotional at best friend's wedding, leading bride to accuse her of stealing the moment and ruining the photos: ‘I should have controlled myself better’

AITH for crying at my best friend's wedding and "ruining" her photos?

So my best friend "Emma" (26F) got married last weekend. We've been best friends since we were 5 years old. Like literally grew up together.
I was her maid of honor. Everything was beautiful. The venue, the dress, the couple. I was so happy for her.
During the ceremony when they were saying their vows, I started crying. Not like ugly sobbing but tears were definitely flowing. I tried to hide it but couldn't.

Afterwards when the photos came out, I saw that in like half of the background shots you can see me with red eyes and tears on my face.

Emma called me yesterday and said she's upset because the photos are "ruined" and I should have controlled myself better. She said I made it about myself and took attention away from her.

I apologized and said I was just overwhelmed with happiness for her. But she's still mad and isn't really talking to me.
I feel so bad. I didn't mean to ruin anything. I was just emotional seeing my best friend get married. AITH for crying at her wedding?
TheFeralVulcan is WRONG with people these days??? Who gives more of a f about pictures than the fact that someone loved them so much they teared up??? I'm so
tired of these people, they're everywhere. There is no such thing as a picture being 'ruined' by someone else's face or clothing or hair. There is no such thing as
a 'perfect' anything. Perfection is an exceedingly rare event in life and cannot be engineered - perfection is something
that occurs by serendipity. So stop it already. I'm s ck to d th of main character syndrome. NTA - but the bride certainly is.
r1r8m8 NTA. Your friend is weird lol. It's a wedding, you're close friends with her. It's an emotional and vulnerable moment.
Smart-Difficulty9566 NTA. Honestly, crying at your best friend's wedding sounds like the most normal reaction ever. Those tears are proof of how much you care, not you trying to steal attention.
YakCertain5472 Your friend doesn't sound emotionally mature enough for marriage. If it's bothering her that much, she should ask her photographer to touch the photos up.
DynkoFromTheNorth Emma's claims are ridiculous, and her accusation that you tried to make the occasion about yourself is even insulting. NTA. She needs to calm the f down.
MaryPink60 She owes her friend an apology? For being happy for her? Nope. If her friend cares more about this than about her obviously loyal friend, she's a silly, shallow person.
Personally, I think it would always be a reminder to me of how much my friend cares. Wouldn't you like your friends to be this happy for you?
